A Short Introduction

DSC_8201Are you afraid someone will discover you’re a fraud? What do you do if you have no idea what you want to do? How do you get unstuck? How do your cultural values help or hinder your professional progress? Does your professional self differ from your “real” self? Want to increase your strength and flexibility and your presence?

Dr. Belinda Chiu is a strengths-based yoga instructor, strategist, and coach. Like you, she believes that everyone has the transformative ability to reach his or her potential and beyond. With over 15 years of experience in the public, private, nonprofit, and academic sectors, Dr. Chiu understands that a positive and intentional alignment of natural strengths, attitudes, behaviors, thoughts, and consciousness leads to authentic living.

Dr. Chiu incorporates a practice of inside-out mindfulness to help individuals harness their natural strengths, achieve results, and carve their own paths towards professional and personal fulfillment. A MBTI® Certified Practitioner and RYT200© certified yoga instructor, she draws upon her experience as a facilitator and researcher to serve as a catalyst for her clients to become the best versions of themselves.

Experienced in highly selective undergraduate and graduate admissions, corporate recruitment, management and strategic consulting, career coaching, training, facilitation, and leadership development, she has a particular expertise in coaching women, young professionals, people of color, immigrants, teens, and underrepresented individuals. Her dad taught her yoga when she was a wee tike copying his every move. Known for her direct style, high energy, and sense of humor, she challenges high-achieving clients to consider the impossible, leverage strengths for growth, and create an intentional and authentic life map.

She asks, “why not?”
